So, who remembers the game Descent?
Well, I certainly do! I recently tried explaining to my son why it was so important to me. Back in my college days, we used to set up LAN parties on the computers at Seneca College. While I wasn’t the most skilled player, I truly enjoyed surprising opponents from the hidden nooks and crannies the game offered.
Now, forget the PS1; it was all about good old MS-DOS back then
And yes, it was a blast. I vividly remember buying my first 486-DX2 and loading Descent at home, playing for countless hours to improve my skills. Ah, those were the days.
Thanks to a seller on eBay https://ebay.ca/usr/jojos-deals recently found Descent again. I actually didn’t know the game was available on the PS1. If I had, I might have introduced everyone to the game’s wild and chaotic world. Maybe it’s for the best I didn’t?
One day, we’ll set up a live Twitch stream and introduce this “retro” gem to my son. But for now, enjoy this long-play from YouTube!
