My son and I were watching the Apex Legends Revenant reveal trailer for season 4. We had totally forgotten how intense it was. Literally, it felt like a movie, and way too dark. The amazing animation gave us Netflix Arcane vibes.
Revenant used to be human. He was the greatest hitman the Mercenary Syndicate ever had. But when his programming eventually failed, he saw what Hammond Robotics had turned him into: “a walking nightmare of steel”.
The trailer showcased Revenant’s backstory and transformation. We re-watched it multiple times. This trailer set the stage for an epic season in the Apex Legends universe.
