A Gilded Greatshield Anyone?
Watching my son delve into Elden Ring has been an experience in itself. The game is undeniably immersive, boasting stunning visuals and intricate design. We’re clearly on a steep learning curve, though! It seems we’ve hit a wall (or rather, a ferocious beast) with Leonine Misbegotten. He’s proven to be a real roadblock.
Sure, I could spoil the surprise and just Google the answer, but where’s the fun in that? According to a helpful soul on Reddit, the “Gilded Greatshield” might be the key.
How to defeat Leonine misbegotten early game with no skill whatsoever:

Margit, the Fell Omen
Fast forward a bit, and we’ve somehow found ourselves facing Margit, the Fell Omen. Seriously, where do these names even come from? Gotta give it to the creators though, the soundtrack is incredible.
Another valiant effort ends in defeat! Apparently, this fight is just a taste of the challenges to come. Still, onward and upward! (Although, for now, we’re taking a well-deserved break.)
Two big thumbs up for Elden Ring! It’s brutal (looking at you, Leonine Misbegotten!), but the world and music are incredible. We’ll see if we conquer the Lands Between, or maybe try a more relaxing game next.
Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
